Our Core Program: Adaptive Equipment Grants
When you support The Gwen Does Stuff Project, you’re not just giving money or time—you’re giving a child their first hike, their first swim, their first moment of freedom in the wild.
Whether you’re a volunteer, donor, fundraiser, or partner, there’s a way for you to help kids and families experience the outdoors—together.
Volunteer With Us
We’re 100% volunteer-run, which means every helping hand goes directly toward creating real impact.
Volunteer Roles Include:
- Event support (set-up, registration, family assistance)
- Outreach to local clinics, schools, and therapists
- Social media or marketing help
- Grant and fundraising support
- Hands-on help delivering or assembling adaptive equipment
You don’t need experience—just heart.
Fundraise With Us
Host a birthday fundraiser. Run a race. Share Gwen’s story on social media. However you want to raise awareness and funds, we’ll give you the tools and support to make it easy and fun.
- Host an event
- Launch a peer-to-peer campaign
- Dedicate a celebration to our cause
Start a Fundraiser – We’ll walk with you every step of the way.
Partner or Sponsor
We’re always looking to team up with compassionate businesses, community groups, and local organizations who want to make a difference.
Ways to partner:
- Sponsor adaptive equipment for a child or family
- Donate a portion of sales from your business
- Provide in-kind support or services
- Co-host a community event or raffle
Become a Sponsor – Let’s build something meaningful together.
Spread the Word
Sometimes the most powerful thing you can do is share Gwen’s story. Every post, tag, or conversation helps us reach a family who may need us—or a donor who can help.
- Follow us on Instagram and Facebook
- Tell a friend or coworker about our mission
- Sign up for our newsletter to stay connected
Every Action Counts
You don’t need to climb a mountain to move one.
However you choose to get involved, thank you—for believing in outdoor joy, for standing with medically fragile kids, and for helping us carry Gwen’s legacy forward.
Let’s do big, beautiful stuff together.
